A summer school program is no vacation. Every day we get some homework to do: Right now we are reading together the first pages of the book "They say, I say". Every person has to read loudly one paragraph with a funny voice.

After our daily breakfast routine, we started our trip to Kentland Farm, Virginia Tech’s primary agricultural research station. There we learned a lot about farm management and their working processes. The Dairy Complex keeps 250 cows on nearly 1,800 acres around Virginia Tech, uses the farm for researches and the products are served at the dining halls. We did a little hiking tour to a cascade fall next to Blacksburg. Unfortunately it started raining and we get wet even before we went swimming in the water fall.
